How does an engagement actually work?
It starts with a short call. We listen to what is stuck and ask the questions most people skip. Then we do a diagnostic week where we map what is actually slowing you down, not just what you think it is. After that we propose the right person and approach, you meet them and approve, and then the work starts. Every step has a written output. You are never waiting in the dark.
Who are "the right people"? Is this an offshore operation?
We source globally and manage centrally. The talent we match to your work comes from wherever the best person for that specific job happens to be. We are honest about that. What we are not is a staffing board where you pick a resume and figure it out yourself. We do the assessment, the briefing, the quality checks, and the ongoing management. You deal with one point of contact: us.
What happens to my code and IP?
It is yours from day one. Every line written during an engagement belongs to you. We do not retain any rights to your product, your codebase, your data, or your systems. This is not a licensing arrangement. We built something for you; you own it completely when we are done.
How fast is the diagnostic?
The initial call is twenty minutes. The written diagnostic takes about one week from that call. If something is obviously on fire and you need a faster read, tell us on the call and we will adjust. The goal is a clear output, not a long report. Most founders read it in under ten minutes.
What if you are not a good fit for what I need?
We tell you. If your situation is outside what we do well, or if your timeline and ours do not line up, we say so in the diagnostic call and point you toward someone who is a better match. We would rather lose the engagement than take work we will not do well.
Do you work with founders who are still building, or only ones who are stuck?
Both. Unstick is for founders who have shipped and stalled. Build is for founders who know exactly what they want next but cannot ship it while running everything else. Grow is for products that work but are not reaching the right people. Maintain, Automate, and AI are for founders who are moving but losing hours to upkeep, manual work, and missed calls. You do not have to be in crisis to work with us.
How long does an engagement last, and can I stop?
It depends on the practice. A diagnostic is one week. A Build is scoped to a specific outcome with a defined end and handoff. Maintain and AI run on an ongoing cadence you can pause or stop. There are no long lock-ins. Every engagement has a natural exit point, and you walk away owning everything we built.
